It's Qing Ming festival this week and I went to pay my respect to my late Aunt. She looked after me when I was still a little boy but passed away when I was 14 due to heart complications :/ I don't usually go around Qing Ming but this year I thought why not, afterall it's the designated time...
I think I almost regretted my decision when I got on the way and nearing Bright Hill (Guang Ming Shan). The jam started right after turning off Bishan road, I was so tempted to turn back and come again another day. Totally terrible, took like 15 min to turn off a 50 meter stretch... zZz
Well since I already bought the offerings and stuff decided to press on and hope I can find parking when I reach the place, which I did, but paid parking... perhaps why less people wanted to park there on a Sunday (free parking at the HDB carpark outside). I would pay $1 anytime to skip waiting...
It was ... 人山人海 at the place (hmm I just realised I have no idea what that place is called...) They temple set up a huge tent at the carpark area and put a few rows of tables for people to make their offering. Managed to find a small space to make my offerings and then visited her urn. Did not stay too long, I can't really stand crowds!

As I was nearby AMK Hub then, decided to drop by the Fitness First gym over there. This is the first time I visited another branch of the gym outside of the one I frequent at Cathay. It was... the same lah haha :P except this branch has another studio for yoga and stuff.
I actually joined the
BodyBalance class which is a workout combining Tai Chi, Yoga and pilates. First time doing this and I think I did pretty well, perhaps except the balancing bit. You doing balancing moves on one leg and at the same time straining your head to watch the instructor for the next move, I think you will fall too :P
Overall it was a good stretch workout for me that left me with side aches for a couple of days... hey means I did it correctly ;P
